Saturday and Sunday, June 12 and 13,
Summer is the peak time for relaxation, and what could be more pleasant than an event at the Chicago Botanic Garden combining fine wine, education, and you? This two-day event will feature wineries, distributors, and importers offering one-ounce samples of their products to consumers. There will be more than 250 domestic and international wines for tasting and for purchase.
In addition to the tasting stations, there will also be a seminar/music stage, and local restaurants offering food for sale. Wine and beer will also be available for sale by the glass.
The Festival takes place in the meadow west of Evening Island, and trams will be available to get visitors to the site.

Individuals under 21 years of age are free when accompanied by an adult. Designated driver tickets are available at $10 each in advance and at the door. Designated driver tickets include 2 non-alcoholic drink tickets. All tickets include a program guide and access to all demonstrations, seminars, and musical entertainment. Additional tasting tickets will be available for sale for $5 on site.

Enjoy the beauty and serenity of the Chicago Botanic Garden while sampling more than 250 wines from around the world. Discover new and exciting varieties from the experts in a casual festival setting. In addition to the samples, wine and beer will be available for purchase by the glass.
Food & Entertainment
Food from some of Chicago's finest restaurants and caterers will tempt your taste buds. Cooking demonstrations by some of the Chicago area's top chefs and specialty food stores will inspire you in the kitchen. You'll even learn how to pair wine with food. Blues, light rock, and jazz entertainment will be provided by top local talent.
Getting to the garden
The Chicago Botanic Garden is easy to find and easy to reach. Come by car, bicycle, or even by train and trolley. Click here for directions. The Garden trolley will transport visitors between the Glencoe Metra station and the Garden for $2 per person round-trip; children ages 5 and under and Garden members ride free.
