Getting to the Garden has never been easier or more fun. Take the trolley for Summer Evenings events—special hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Take a moonlit walk through the 23 formal display gardens and three natural areas. Sunsets and lights are spectacular on Evening Island! Stroll past the Crescent Garden, brilliant with annuals sloping down to the water. Relax along the Esplanade's Lakeside Terrace, for maximum views of the spectacular sunsets.
Dine outdoors at the Evening Grille until 9 p.m. from June 1, 2009, through Labor Day.
You can browse at the Garden Shop until 9 p.m., where you will find unique items from jewelry to accessories for home and garden.
The Joseph Regenstein, Jr. School offers many classes in the evening. Try butterfly gardening, flower arranging, or a bonsai tour.
The Garden closes at 9 p.m. through Labor Day.

Mondays
Carillon Concerts by the water
Monday evenings, June, July, and August, 7 p.m.; pre-concert carillon tour and demonstration, 5:30 p.m.
Bring your blanket and dinner and picnic on the lawn by McGinley Pavilion, or stop by the Garden Grille for a pre-concert dinner. Watch Evening Island light up as the sun sets to the west.

Tuesdays
Cocktails and Music on the Esplanade
Tuesday evenings in June, July, and August, 6 to 8 p.m.
Enjoy beautiful views and quiet walks through the gardens before sipping a drink and having a light supper. Live music varies weekly and features Spanish guitar, blues, or jazz.
wednesdays
Dancin' Sprouts
The first and third Wednesdays of June, July, and August,
5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Dancin’ Sprouts provides free musical entertainment for the Garden’s youngest visitors.

THURSDAYS
Hot Summer Nights Music Series
Thursday evenings in July, July, and August, 6 to 8 p.m.
Bring your dancing friends and kick it up a notch with high-energy music as you dance (or listen) to the upbeat tempo of a host of diverse genres. Beverages and light fare will complement the specific music genre of the evening.
